Current/Recent Projects
Spiderman 2 (2023 release): Aaron is currently collaborating on several dialects for the Sony-produced (PS5) video game. Dialects and languages included: Nuyorican Spanish, NYC-Dominican Spanish, NYC-Mexican Spanish and Symkarian (Hungarian)
Bel-Air (2023): Aaron is currently coaching two actors on their French dialect for S2 of the Peacock series, Bel-Air.
Shogun (2023): Aaron recently worked in ADR as an (Ecclesiastical) Latin dialect coach for the FX mini-series, Shogun.
Grand Crew (2023): Aaron recently coached (NY Dominican) Spanish for S2 of the NBC series, Grand Crew.
Shining Vale (2023): Aaron has recently worked as a Latin dialect coach on set for S2 of the Starz series, Shining Vale.
Perry Mason (2022-23): Aaron is currently working as a dialect coach for eight episodes (in production and now in post production), for season 2 of the HBO series, Perry Mason. He has coached (Mexican) Spanish, Mexican-accented English and General American. He has also contributed as a Japanese language consultant.
God’s Favorite Idiot (2022): Aaron recently worked as a consultant and language and dialect coach for Ben Falcone on the new Netflix comedy series, God’s Favorite Idiot. He coached Latin, Mexican-Spanish and Arabic for several episodes.
Physical: (2022-2023): Aaron has recently worked on two episodes for season 2 of the AppleTV series, Physical and one episode of season 3. His contributions included working as a Spanish dialect coach for Paul Sparks, (Mexican Spanish) and Mexican-accented English Dialect coach For Alison Segura. He also worked with Erin Pinyeda on Mexican Spanish for an episode in S3.
Westworld (2020-2022): Aaron has worked (in post-production), on several episodes of season 3 and season 4 in the HBO series, Westworld. His contributions include translations and dialect coaching in several languages.
The Final Purge (2021) Aaron coached Tenoch Huerta, (Narcos México), in his role in, The Purge, (for release in the summer of 2021). He and the actor collaborated on accent reduction.
Miles Morales PS5 (Insomniac Games) November 2020: Aaron worked with Jacqueline Piñol (Rio Morales) and Nadji Jeter (Miles Morales), as a “Nuyorican” (New-York Puertorican Spanish), dialect coach. He also collaborated with writers to create localized Nuyorican dialog for the game.
Nissan Altima 2021 (commercial): Aaron worked as a dialect coach, translator and language consultant. He coached several actors on a bilingual Nissan advertisement campaign (fall/winter 2020). He collaborated with several native Spanish-speaking actors to reduce their Spanish accents in English and with native English speakers to speak Spanish. He also worked on translations from English to Spanish and vice versa. He assisted producers, a director and an assistant director, while coaching native Spanish speakers to localize and modify their sound to a U.S.-based, Latin-American audience.
El Presidente (2020): Aaron recently worked, (in pre-production), on the Amazon Prime series, El Presidente, (for release in 2020). His dialect work has included coaching Karla Souza in Venezuelan Spanish for her lead role as Rosario. Birdman’s Armando Bo will direct and executive produce the series, which is inspired by the real-life characters and events behind the 2015 “FIFA Gate” corruption scandal. The series explores the scandal from the angle of a small‐time Chilean football club president who rises from obscurity to become a key player in a $150M bribery conspiracy.
The Two Popes (2019): Aaron recently worked (in post-production) on the Netflix film, The Two Popes. His dialect work included coaching (ADR), Sir Anthony Hopkins in Italian, Latin, Portuguese and Spanish for his role as Pope Benedict Ratzinger. The story chronicles the Papal transition from Pope Ratzinger to Pope Francis.
The Laundromat (2019): Aaron donned his translator cap in his pre-production collaboration for Panamanian Spanish in The Laundromat, (for release in 2019).
Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse (2018): Aaron thoroughly enjoyed his collaboration with the energetic and multi-talented Shameik Moore, on Spiderman: Into the SpiderVerse (2018). Together, they worked to create an authentic Nuyorican dialect sound for his character, Miles Morales. Aaron’s dialect coaching work is mentioned in the following article in Remezcla:
